About Me

Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.

I am a hard working creative born and raised in Oregon. Since I was in a kid, I have always been fascinated with technology and being creative. I first got the spark to create films in a documentary film camp on the Oregon Coast in high school. That was the moment where I had my epiphany moment that I would be able to combine technology and creativity into one. That sent me on a route to film school where I graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon with a BFA in Film and Video Production. After college, I interned as Video Editor/Motion Graphics Artists for the Portland Trail Blazers where I was editing pregame hype videos as well as creating motion graphic animations for the arena, broadcast, and web marketing uses. In 2015 I started as an Assistant Camera at Laika Studios working on their film, Kubo and the Two Strings (2016). As an AC, I was assisting camera teams setting up cameras, computers, and motion control cranes on any given day. I move from that film onto the next stop-motion feature film, Missing Link (2019).

In March 2018, with the production of Missing Link wrapping and no consecutive project following, I decided to step into the freelance videography world. I work occasionally in stop-motion performing camera/lighting duties in Los Angeles and Portland, but my time has primarily been filled with video creation in the Pacific Northwest. I dived head first into wedding videography and have loved getting to capture one of the most exciting days of a couples life! I have also expanded into content creation with small businesses and specializing in video content for social media. I love be able to work with people and create a unique vision for videos that best showcases the vision.
